Blessed Beyond Our Deserving!

We are so fortunate to be so blessed by God! I am so grateful yet feel so undeserving. I continue to fall short but despite that, God continues to provide for us!! We have been on a search for a home, our first home, for a couple months. We have made offers, which did not work out thankfully. Finally, this last week we were heading to the last house for the day. I prayed out loud for the lord to find us a home! Jeff turned to me and said 'the next house is the one... you prayed for it, so it has to be this one.'

As we walked in the home I began to laugh because Jeff was right. We were overpowered with the feeling of home and new that this was going to be ours! It just astonishes me how God works! He provided us the perfect home and he deserves all the credit!!!!!!

The living room which I am so excited to paint

Our very own dining room!!!

A cute kitchen which I can make my very own... I mean OUR very own!

The master bedroom has two doors which go out the deck!

My favorite part the master bath! We are soooo excited about the tub!

Can't wait to enjoy a unique fire pit next summer!!!

We close December 16 and I can't WAIT!!!

Let Your Light Shine

Today, I began to feel restless. I am the kind of person who needs to express my creativity.

I NEED A PROJECT IN MY LIFE!!

So I pulled out all my craft supplies and found a candle making kit... Perfect. Now this was my first candle making experience but it was very fun!!!

After about four hours of trial and error my candle was made. It was a little small but I am proud!!!!

Patience...

I have been challenged recently with patience... even if I don't really want to be.
Be still before the lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries our evil devices. ~Psalms 37:7~
Being newly married, many decisions are awaiting us. Where to live? Denver or Cheyenne? Buy a house? Buy a Car? When to have kids???? These questions can be quite taunting and require a lot of patience in the LORD.  I know God is faithful. With every decision he has guided us.

The Lord never ceases to amaze me. We trusted in him when we got married to provide for us. Just months before we got married, Jeff got a stable job as a firefighter. When we put an offer on a house, Jeff and I both had uneasy feelings, causing us to decline the counter. Now he has put Denver on our hearts (as well as my moms). Waiting is the tough part. When continues to be the question.

It is easy to look at others, where they are and compare my life to them. Yet I can only compare myselves to myselves. It is a challenge!!! But I will be still, I will wait!
